Child Neurodevelopmental Screening & School Observations
We know that jumping straight into a full diagnostic assessment for a child can feel overwhelming and expensive when you're not even sure you need them.
We can do preliminary screening for you so you can see whether there is sufficient evidence to warrant spending more time and money on a full diagnostic process.
This includes:
Conducting initial neurodevelopmental screenings by inviting parents/carer/s, teachers or other observers to complete psychometric surveys,
Providing verbal or written feedback and you have the option to request:
Structured observations in the classroom.
I provide a professional summary report that can assist you to make informed decisions about next steps and whether to pursue full diagnostics.
If you do decide to go further, these reports support pediatricians in making accurate, timely diagnoses. This gives you a huge headstart if you're already on the wait-list for a paediatrician.
Instead of the first paediatric session being an intake where you're sent back out to do more tests and a follow up appt in several weeks you go in ready with information to get the maximum value from your paediactric appointment.
