Neuro-Developmental

screening services

  • Child Neurodevelopmental Screening & School Observations

    • We know that jumping straight into a full diagnostic assessment for a child can feel overwhelming and expensive when you're not even sure you need them.

    • We can do preliminary screening for you so you can see whether there is sufficient evidence to warrant spending more time and money on a full diagnostic process.

    • This includes:

      • Conducting initial neurodevelopmental screenings by inviting parents/carer/s, teachers or other observers to complete psychometric surveys,

      • Providing verbal or written feedback and you have the option to request:

      • Structured observations in the classroom.

    • I provide a professional summary report that can assist you to make informed decisions about next steps and whether to pursue full diagnostics.

    • If you do decide to go further, these reports support pediatricians in making accurate, timely diagnoses. This gives you a huge headstart if you're already on the wait-list for a paediatrician.

    • Instead of the first paediatric session being an intake where you're sent back out to do more tests and a follow up appt in several weeks you go in ready with information to get the maximum value from your paediactric appointment.
