WPATH SURGICAL READINESS SUPPORT

Safe, respectful, and transparent pathways

Accessing gender-affirming healthcare can feel like navigating a maze.

This appointment is a Collaborative Review to formally document your preparedness and

translate your story into the clinical language the medical system requires to move forward.

Your right to autonomy and self-determination.

I provide the clinical consultation and documentation required by surgeons and endocrinologists,

following the WPATH Standards of Care (SOC-8) always prioritising your autonomy and self-determination.

At Third Chance Psychology, we operate on a "Roadmap Model".

This Means You Always Leave with Support and a Plan

  • Scenario A: If you meet the readiness criteria, you leave with your Letter of Support.

  • Scenario B: If there are barriers to immediate surgery, you leave with a Letter of Recommendations—a specific clinical roadmap detailing exactly what needs to happen to support readiness.
